DSL really sucks... it is too slow, and I couldn't access this site for over a week! Neither wold Ford Truck World or Dodge Truck World, but now they are strangely working. Hope it stays that way.

Just the fact that you had DSL isnt your problem.

Something else was going on...probably with your ISP, but it appears to have been fixed

I had roadrunner cable which I loved, then AT&T bought it out and I entered hell. I am one of those people "really into gaming" I run my own online team and it seemed everytime we would have a CAL match I would be pinging 500+ instead of my normal 50. Impossible. I had many fustrating phone calls. AT&T got taken over by comcast right after I left, and now that I am going home I called up comcast to restart my service. Better be good or I am calling earthlink.

Well, the good news is Bell South is a big company that can afford to pay for decent equipment. Weather they do or not is another thing. Do you know how much your rents are paying for it? They may have gotten the $30 a month stuff wich is 512Kbit/sec or something. Just curious.

Try this...

http://www.dslreports.com/stest?loc=97

This will show you what speed you're getting. It's a little slow for me but it'll give you a rough idea. Here's mine.....

Your download speed : 2032193 bps, or 2032 kbps.
A 248 KB/sec transfer rate.
Your upload speed : 366804 bps, or 366 kbps.
Seems like broadband .. above the 1mbit barrier!
