Let's see what happens
There a quite a few businesses in the UK that import new U.S. vehicles and consequently have a few trade ins to get rid of.
I was checking one of these out earlier in the year before I imported my F150 just to see if I could escape some hassle.
While checking out one site, amongst the new trucks was the new Dodge Ram SRT-10 being advertised for the price of £0.00.
Obviously, because the company didn't have a price, their website showed it as zero rather than their magazine ads which said £call.
Anyway, to cut this story short, I ordered via email an SRT-10 in Black and asked them to honour this price they were advertising.
They did have the courtesy to email back but unfortunately the message was "Go F*ck Yourself"
Charming

JRUDD, Actually I did notify the site about the price when I ordered the part. I wasn't just "trying to take advantage of someone" and am not "just trying to scam them". I realize these are "just your observations", but they are rather pointed and accusatory.
As far as my sense of Integrity, it is in place and operating at 100%, thank you very much. My career and lifestyle demand nothing less.
The whole intention of the thread was to get opinions on what F-150 Onliners thought the company would do. Either ship the short block at the advertised price, then change the price or send me a reply along the lines of what EnglishAdam received. Either one would be fine with me (of course getting a 5.4L short block for $95.00 would be pretty sweet), I was just looking for opinions from people I have grown to respect.

I would have to say that I do not feel they will honor that price simply for prior reasons stated by Habibi and a few others. It does not make good business sense. There are false advertising laws in effect but they are more toward the line of protecting a consumer from being duped, instead of screwing a business for misprint, omission, or honest mistake. A better integrity check for a company would be how they stand by the products they sell and do they deliver on promises made. Afterall, intergrity is merely honesty and high ethics and morals. Their true grit will show when they determine how to handle the order. If they see the order for the s/b and bill $955.00 + S&H because that is what they sell them for then that would be low business standards. On the other hand if they see your order to get a s/b for $95 + S&H and then notify you advising you that they have credited your account for the original amount and that the price is actually XYZ amount and would you still like to process the order at the correct amount. Now that in my opinion shows integrity. Afterall, they are a business and are in it to make money not lose it. If it were me I would have contacted them advising them of their misprint prior to ever placing the order because I know that the price is wrong. Just like if you went to a store paid with a $10 and got change as if it were a $20, your integrity would be questioned whether you keep the extra money or advise the person of their mistake and give the excess money back. I personally would give the money back but that is just me. We reap what we sow.
When I mentioned in my previous post about checking to insure the company doesn’t charge his credit card was not met to be taken that the company may screw him. They may in fact NOT know the web site price is inaccurate and when it gets processed the system may show that it was indeed ordered at $995.00 where the company may have no idea the person ordering it seen $95.00.
Of course if he was to call them after charges were made and explain that to them then they should honor charging back his card. I only brought it up to save a possible future problem…
Did you get an email confirmation about the order and price and that they charged your card, or what ever method you used? If not I would worry about possible problems. Anytime I have ordered something from the Internet I have always got a confirmation on the order, with price, shipping charges etc.

01, Yes I got the confirmation at $95.33, but the point is now moot. I received the following message a few minutes ago:
"Hi Michael,
Thanks for pointing out the error on our system
regarding the shortblock listing. I don't know why the
pricing comes up the way it does but obviously it is
incorrect. I would like to pass this information on to
our catalog host Trademotion so they could correct the
error. Could you please tell me what you looked the
shortblock up for (year, model) as along with the
wrong price no part number information and a strange
parts description came through (it lists the short
block as fitting a 5.4 and 4.6).
Thanks,
John Kerr

A heck of a lot nicer than what EnglishAdam received. This really leaves me with a good feeling about the company. I'll probably shop there again. Thanks for all the inputs and opinions that were given on the subject. As always, the F-150 Online community has proved interesting and thought provoking. See you in the funny papers.

It would have looked something like this"
"Dear EnglishAdam,
Please GFYS, and thank you for trying to screw us over for our honest mistake. You are a 3%EG##$ and a @@!$, and also a ((^&.
We will not sell you a new Dodge SR10 for zero pounds.
Are you that unbeliveably %$^%#^$ stupid to think we would?
It's ##$@ like you who make this world a #%$^ place.
Best Regards
Management"

Yep. The response I got was much more fun.
Of course I didn't expect them to give me a freebie SRT-10 and I suppose that won't be the last time I get told that either.
They probably guessed I would have traded it straight for an L anyway.

or maybe they would create a special webpage just for people like that:
