This is different than the pics I saw months ago when they were first talking about the cars. The pic I saw the car did resemble a cavalier. Now that pic above does look better, first one I saw with 4 doors also. So maybe instead of looking like a cavalier it looks like a grand prix. I'm all for more 32 valve V 8's hitting the roads, but it's not what I think of when I hear GTO.

I'd be glad to show the 1st one I see on the road my Cobra's tail lights

Better be an '03 Cobra, or at least a reasonably well modded one, if earlier. These are gonna be stronger than the F-bodies were stock. They're serious machines.
