Unhappy Got dumped today

Yup, I saw it coming. I'm not going to bore everyone with the details but Cara(gf) and I broke up today after 14 months of going out. Guess the only thing to do now is love on the girl that'll never let me down, my truck

Have a great day everyone

You know, when I was younger all I wanted was a girl who would love me unconditionally. I wanted the long term deal. Yah, I dated a few. Most of my experiance was older (not more than 20yrs) woman using me as a toy. Sounds awful, doesn't it?

Well, it's been eight years now, we've been going together. We have been living together for three, and in a couple weeks we will be celebrating two years of co-home ownership. She loves me and I love her. She is great to me.

But....

Sometimes I have trouble understanding why the he!! I wanted a relationship so bad. I used to have my own place. I used to be able to do what ever I wanted, whenever I wanted, without the flack. I used to have time to sit and do nothing, think nothing and hear nothing. I used to get a pretty good "education" from the older women.

You young guys have it made. Have fun. Be safe. Don't get all caught up in the feelings and emotions stuff yet. It'll just slow you down. There will be plenty of time for that later.

Dude, sorry about your girl, but it really is a good thing.

You don't need to be tied down at your age (just my opinion).

Now you can date around and get lots of poon tang

Remember Joe, when one door closes, another opens.
Now you can chase skirts all day long and not feel guillty.
I know it doesnt help right now, but don't sweat it, and don't feel bad, it's her loss, you will find someone better.

By the time you are ready to settle down, you will have went through many girls, trust me.

You have all your buds right here too when you're feeling down.
So snap out of it punk, and move onto something better!

Remember, things always seem worse than they really are.

Ya, cheer up buddy. My truck played a small part in my divorce, kind of. She would bitch all the time when I would wash and wax it. I did it like maybe once every TWO weeks.

One day, kind of serious she says to me “You have to make a decision, it’s either the truck or me, so what’s the decision?”

I said “I’ll get back to you later, I need to wax the truck now”…

From a financial aspect this could be good lifeguardjoe. More money to put in the truck. I like to look at as what you still got. You got your health, pride, and swimming career all ahead of you. Plus girls are a dime a dozen.
