Talking Yankee’s getting pissy…

What’s up with Zippy there charging Pedro? Not sure if that was after the mugging of one of the stadium employee or not. What was up with that, two Yankee’s mugging an innocent employee of the stadium?

Guess Zippy and his hoodlums need some meds…

Since Iam a Met fan, I'll give you my take..........

Zippy as you call him, was hit in the head twice when he played, one resulting in a life threating coma.
O Pedro hasn't a friggin clue what a bean ball in the head fells like or results in. And then pointing to the next batter and then pointing to his own head, as to imply your next to get hit in the head.
I think even you might that that as a personal threat.
So give the old man credit for charging the youngin. Lets see how fast O Pedro runs when he's 72........LOL
Maybe O Pedro needs a fastball in the head to better understand the stupidity in his acts, especially the pointing

As far as the "mugging" as you put it. A Red Sox employee in the Yankee bullpen, pumping his fist and waving a towel........isn't the smartest thing to do. At least the way I see it

Even the ****heads that parade around as Yankee fans wouldn't be dumb enough to get in the Red Sox bullpen at Yankee stadium and do something as stupid as that.

In closing, I would like to say, wait till next year...hehe

GO METS

Fast Gator:

No disrespect intended towards Zippy. I didn't watch the game, just seen the replays on the news and was like WTF is going on here. Personally I thought it was cruel how Pedro slammed the guy to the ground and found it interesting that he, Pedro didn't get mugged in the aftermath...

The ol' boy was in the pin with the Yankee's that got mugged, I hear he was waving a Red Sox towel or something and cheering regardless if someone feels that was stupid it was more stupid for the two to mug him.

Think about it, the ol' boy that got his *** wooped may indeed be smart, maybe he was wanting a Lightning as I do and couldn't afford it and saw an opportinity to, lets say get some extra cash...

Thanks Judge Judy...

I'll give my two cents real quick,

A yankee COACH charges the mound, he tried to start a fight with Pedro. Pedro isn't going to stand there and let this yankee start punching him etc, so he pushed him over. and dosen't do anything more (correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't see it actually happen, but heard about it right afterward).

Pedro acted in self defense. Don Zimmer attacked him. Who's wrong? The attacker of course!

Another note, many people have been thrown in jail for protecting themselves from being robbed (at gunpoint) and murderd, raped etc by shooting thr assailent. The American nation is getting so dumbed down now, that the people acting in self defense are the ones being convicted and put in jail. That shouldn't be, but it shows how far America has fallen since it was first founded as a Christian nation unde God. You can't even say the word God in public schools now, unless you are using it in a swearing/cussing way.

Wake up Sox fans!
Pedro is the one who was wrong. To throw an elder down on the ground, please.... Sox fans are lucky that the gentlemen Yankees didn't start rolling and punching. Yankees are above the juvenile bull*****! Now lets talk about another issue, Mr. Just Call Me Arrogant, Ramirez...the ball was no way near your head. If Roger wanted to hit you, you would be looking like Mike Piazza wondering where the hell you were. Manny showing Roger disrespect where he should be kissing his ***, wanting to be half a player like him. Again, Roger was a gentleman and just swore back. Too bad for us Boomer wasn't on the mound. He would teach you a lesson or two! Coming to all theaters near you...Drama Queen starring Manny Ramirez. All hail Roger and the best team, the New York Yankees Perhaps tonight, we will wipe that f#%@in' smirk off Pedro's face.... The Sox just showed that they are the lesser team lacking professionalism and intelligence.

I guess Mrs Jstang sums it up pretty good.
What is up with Garciaparra??? is that dude OCD or what?!

He plays with his gloves, hands and wrists. Then he drives his toes into his shoes, take a pitch and repeat.

What does he play with in the dugout??

Manny, lighten up Francis!!

Mrs jstang, (and Mr. too)

I understand y'all like the yanks etc, I don't have a problem with y'all going for the team you like (I know I'm a diehard Mariners fan) but when you say "..To throw an elder down on the ground,..." Let me ask you a simple question. Mr Zimmer attacked Pedro, right?

Pedro acted in self DEFENSE (I'm not shouting, I'm emphasizing)

I hope you understand where we're coming from now?

It's a human RIGHT to protect his or herselves from anybody who chooses to do the stupidest thing in the world, which is attack someone who is obeying every rule he is supposed to, and the game is going in an orderly fashion.

------
The sox are not my favourite team, but I think I need to defend the one in the right here.

oh and PS: I also think Pedro gets stuck up too much at times, but he was in the right this time, so that's why I'm defending him.

Well from my perspective of what I seen on the news Pedro was indeed being attacked, or was going to be. However, though I agree Pedro had a right to defend himself he could of simple pushed Zippy to the side. Pedro grabbed his head and with his actions threw Zippy to the ground head first. I thought that was uncalled for. Was Zippy wrong? Yes absolutely, but I think Pedro could have handled it much better then he did and I think it was very cruel what he did...

Now, as far as the Yankees being civilized? I don’t think so, at least not two of them. Two of them MUGGED and innocent victim in a pin because their mommy didn’t teach them proper manners. Goes to show, in my opinion they, the two muggers were WUSSIES, 2 on 1 then kicking the innocent victim when he was on the ground, that there is wussies syndrome in full display.

Hopefully the two muggers will get their *** sued in court. I usually hate people that love suing, however there is always cases that are just and this would be a just case…

Gee

I guess common sense shouldn't be an issue here

I think Al Sharpton is an azzhole, but I wouldn't go to Harlem and pump my fist and wave a towel shouting that..........

So standing in the Yankee bullpen waving a towel and yelling for the Red Sox is a smart flucking thing to do? So maybe the "mugging" as it was put, might put a little common sense in the jerks head. But in this day and age, anybody and everybody is looking for an easy way out and don't want to accept responsibility for their own actions. So there will probably be a lawsuit. As much as I hate jury duty, thats one trial I would love to be on..........hehe

Yes Don Zimmerman was wrong, but like I said before, he knows first hand what a fastball to the side of the head is all about. So from where Iam sitting, I think he's more of a man at 72 than Ole Pedro will ever be. Since Zimmerman never layed a hand on Pedro, and Pedro threw the 72 yr old man on the ground and injuring his hip, Don't you think Judge Judy might have a case of assault to try? Zimmy never touched ole Pedro.

Makes it easy to understand with a team run like that, hasn't been to the World Series since 1918

And yes as a Mets fan, this year my battle cry is .......GO CUBBIES

Actually I am just having fun with this thread. As far as the ol’ boy in the Yankees ballpen and waving a flag and cheering may have not been the brightest thing one can do. I wouldn’t have done it, well then again I REALLY want a Lightning… LMAO

My personal opinion is that the two Yankees and Pedro should all be suspended for the rest of the season for their childish actions…
