01 XLT SPORT, I think he meant:

'my political science professor here at school noted that he(Arnold) wants to do away with special interest groups, I don't remember him(Arnold) saying that, but it will never happen. In my opinion he(Arnold) may help California in some ways, but may be a loss in many other ways.

And don't forget about Reagan in there, he was also an actor.

Actors should stick to acting, Politicians should stick to politics. You just can't take someone seriously in an authoritative position if they were an actor. It just doesn't seem professional.
Why, Politicians act like they care about the general public. So technically they are actors.
A Politician just needs to be able to sound convincing to the public, who better to do this then an actor ?

After re-reading that post I believe you are right. I stand corrected...

I must agree that I am totally shocked with CA right now... and you just KNOW that it's the majority of guys that voted for him too... with all the sex stuff and him I really doubt a majority in favor of him were women...

people need to quit voting for celebrities (especially the males)...first we have Jesse the Dumbass Ventura elected as govenor whereever he is...and now we have an actor (a one-role actor at that) in charge of the most expensive place to live on the planet ...

glad I'm leaving CA soon... i hate it here...

Look at the choices they had...

How could it be possible that Arnold would do worse than Davis or Buster? McClintock probably could not have gotten elected, if he could have done anything.

I don't get all this stuff about "what is the world (okay, California) coming to?" Arnold not only has leadership talent, he has business acumen and a clear understanding of economics. Standing up to him will be politically costly for any of the entrenched politicos in Sacratomato...I think California is lucky to have him. I am really looking forward to seeing how well he does.

No one could have been worse than Davis.
