New member here

I ran by this site in a thread on club cobra, that linked to a thread here.Just though I would add my truck to the club.
1993 Flairside NASCAR
It was NASCAR driver's Davey Allison last personal vehicle that was presented to him after winning the 1992 Daytona 500.
I will try to post picture if any one is interested.
later
Bill
Thanks for the warm welcome
I will try to fine a camera that will let me download here,I am not very good with the computer. I believe I can get one from where I wook for the weekend.
J-150 You are right.there is no NASCAR truck package.
Ford sent the truck to Mark III conversion had it done for Davey after he won the Daytona 500 back in 1992.It is a one of a kind.
I was at the autofair at lowes motor speed september 2002 and it was going though the action.the weather that weekend was $h!ty not a lot of buyers so I talked the wife into letting me get a bidders card just incase.
Well long story short it sold. I was able to get it. (love that wife)
Davey drove on his farm in nashville, and by looking at the bed of the truck he used it like a truck. The rest of the truck was in very nice shape. When I got it, it had less than 7000 miles on it, got about 8500 on it now.
I will do my best to get pictures and post soon.
thanks for the interest,I do love that truck

Welcome Bill 28! Nice to have you here. I can't wait to see a few pics of your truck! Davey was my favorite driver & I sure miss him.
It's nowhere near having his truck BUT when I went to the Pocono race several years ago I had my nails done in the colors of all the Ford teams. There were only 8 Ford drivers at that time. The best looking nail of all was the 1 for #28! Took my nail tech 6 hours to do my nails & his turned out awesome! I used to have pics but don't know where they are now.
Stop by chat some nite - we're usually in there around 9PM EST. It would be nice to say hi & get to introduce you to the regulars!
Bye for now!

I think we are are putting too much pressure on Bill.
Bill, go over to the test and tune forum and tinker with it until you get it. (you can edit the same post over and over again)
Then that '93 Flareside can set everybody back on their heels in this thread.
