That was Christmas Day. We had a storm that equalled that on News Years too. Farmers Almanac is predicting the same or more for this year.

After a few snowfalls, we averaged about 18"-24" of snow each time. This of course was nothing compared to the snow we got when I was stationed in the Upper Pennisula of Michigan, that was some serious snow!
