Dixie Chics in the news again

This time they are saying that they are leaving country music to go to the pop culture. They had an interview with Spiegal and said that Country music has snubbed them and since they "have 3 Grammy's" they would be more accepted in the other genre's of music. I say good riddance, because I never really cared for them anyway. Natalie has an annoying voice that I really hate. I wouldn't care if they had 30 Grammy's I wouldn't buy their music.

Country sucks!

I would rather you all have them than us Rock guys, of course they're going "pop" so I shouldn't be too effected.

Glad to hear that! They weren't no true country singer nohow, and yes Paul, I agree that Natalie has a really annoying voice. It's high shrill and whiney.

I prefer real Country

Oh great i can see it now. The song "Long time gone remix" featuring Nelly. That is a career ending move. I mean they really don't have super looks nor do they have much talent. Give them a year and you will see a vh1 special about there band right after the biography of the Spice girls.

Ya see, this is a set of individuals that I feel we could all do without in this world... What a waste. So much talent and so stupid.

Someone's gotta stick around and keep you moving in the right direction Mr. I don't have time to email someone that's basically offering a free ticket for work so I can have a real life and a future in this country rather than living off of the system and enjoying government cheese which will make me want more and more fibercon in the very near future not to mention my excessive chlorine exposure has caused me to be impotent thus, I'm shooting blanks and can't reproduce"

Most of this new country music is just pop music anyway so I don't see where it makes any difference.

Willie, Waylon and Hank have as much in common with this new bunch as Newt Gingrich has with Hillary Clinton.

Now thats country. Give me some of the Waylon Jennings, Merl(sp?) Haggard, and Willie Nelson. The Old American Outlaws. They got some good stuff. Country is good music, just takes some getting accustomed to by the city folk.
