I don't really buy it. I think it's a ****ty way for people to exert power over something else. One thing I know for certain is that the last thing people are thinking of when they shoot their rifle is "I care about the environment."
#1 I do not want to hear a friggin peep from you unless you are a total vegetarian who is barefoot and wears clothes made from hemp.

#2 Hunters / Fisherman pay more and do far more FOR the environment / wildlife than you or any of your eviro-trash organizations could dream of.

Organizations like Ducks Unlimited, National Wild Turkey Foundation CREATES and MAINTAINS land and habitat.

Sportsmen thru licenses, tags, permits and taxes pay money that goes to and helps the wildlife and environment.

Sportsmen thru buying hunting and fishing products pay money that creates jobs. Companies like Federal and Cabelas donate LARGE SUMS of money to help the environment.

When was the last time you gave a cent or a minute of your time?

The Point of eating
I've heard a lot of people before say that there really isn't one, while people who like to eat say that they're simply "keeping the balance" and taking care of "nature's excess."

I don't really buy it. I think it's a ****ty way for people to exert power over something else. One thing I know for certain is that the last thing people are thinking of when they stuff their face is "I care about the environment."

What's your opinion?
Look how stupid that sounds when you substitue "hunting" for "eating". If you detest hunting, then what do you eat?
Don't think you are safe with a vegitarian diet either, because we all know how many feild creatures get mowed down, and their 'meat' needlessly wasted from the harvesting combines. Plenty of innocent bugs were also killed to keep them from ravaging your food before it got to you too. and lets not forget the 'undesireable' plant life that was destroyed so that you could have a full acrage of whatever designer vegatable your selfish heart desired at the time. Boy, talk about an exertion of power!

Now, if you think 'stalking your food' with a weapon is any less noble than those that commercially 'raise it, and kill it by other means' for you to eat, then you must also like the taste of residual antibiotics, hormones, and pesticides. I doubt you would even think of raising it yourself to avoid the additives, that being 'too much like real work'. Tell you what, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume all those additives have warped your spoiled, 'holier than thou' brain to the point where you think you can excert power over others by telling us what you think.
So what we got here folks is a failure to comply with the laws of nauture. Those that think hunting is wrong need to accept their fate and die of starvation.

Looks like he figured out he was way off on is talking points. You see someone that does NOT have a true conviction to their beliefs have NO way of coming back and explaining themselves. How could someone come back and explain something they don’t have a clue about? They can’t, only those that actually have a belief in something or a value in something can truly come back and explain why they have the position they do.

It is as I stated. He said something he had heard or read somewhere and it made him feel good because his friends and family probably felt good about the statement even though none of them had a clue as to what it met, it just felt good to say and agree with.

You can spot these types of people from miles away…

You’d think he'd be concentrating more on his own State's economic / political "environment".

That's the thing with enviro whackos, they think they need to solve everyone elses enviro problems yet they themselves live in a mansion and eat endangered fish (or something along those lines). (I am refering to the earth summit meeting held in Africa a couple years ago and some of them who attended...I hope I got that right).

Last week in this area, we had a couple of crunch-nuts in trees for couple of days. They climbed up in protest of an expanding ski slope and then decided to sneak down during the night just before the local enforcement got serious.

I could have kept a straight face with a chainsaw in my hand.....Ummm what coco-nuts....sorry I did'nt notice....

Just a note from California.......

I am an avid hunter and love it. People like this are many here but there are also alot hunters and fishermen. We just love to antagonize these ignorant and clueless people.

He is probably going to vote for Ariana Huffinton because of her ELF affiliations.
