Accessing Chat with XP

Does anyone access chat with Windows XP Home Edition?

I get the following message:

"Sorry, but you are not running a Java Compatible Web browser. To take advantage of the latest Web software, Download Netscape Navigator"

This is even with all security and privacy settings at thier lowest setitng.

I would like to confirm if this is a Windows XP problem or just a problem with my installation/settings.

Thanks

Hi,

I'm running XP, and have no problems with chat.
(besides the chat room being always empty, lol)

I've been doing some research and it seems MS quit putting MS Virtual Machine in its products due to the law suit with Sun. (I have a retail version of XP not an OEM)

Its hasn't even available for download on thier website since last June.

Sun has a version available for download, but there have been a ot of complaints about it.

I found a copy of MS VM at PCWorld and I'm downloading it now. (With a 24K dialup connection its going to take a while though)\

Hope it works
