I must admit I like some piercings (Very few) and none you can see with regular clothes on. Most just look painfull and over done/stupid to me.

I have 2 tattoo's and in the business environment that I work in you would have no idea I have them. I also waited until I was 35 to get my first one when all of my old friends got their's in their teens and now regret them.

If someone gets a tattoo to commemerate serving through a life and death situation such as time served in a battle or horrific typhoon it is kind of understandable. My late uncle served for 30 years under the seas with the submariners and had a few Tattoos on his arms. He always said they were reminders of friends he will never see again.

When I see young pretenders cover themselves with tattoos or holes where there shouldn't be because they think it makes them look cool or tough I am reminded of 85 horse ricers with two hundred pound spoilers on the trunks and ground effects, and a thousand dollars worth of decals. Just silly.

I am not an old fart I am just old.

^ months ago I told a gal I no longer wanted to date her after she went out and got two huge tatoos. Neither were even remotely tasteful in my opinion. She was thirty nine, go figure.

Pleasure

I've always liked tattoo's and peircings, done tastefully. Never really liked those that use their bodies as a living canvas board, but hey if it floats their boat and keeps someone employed, what the hell.

Personally I have nothing nor will I ever get something that will be out in the open for everyone to see. Everything I have is easily covered by clothes in the work environment.

Only moderators can post polls I believe...

The right piercing in the 'right place' (on girls specifically) can make all the difference in the world...

Take this pic for example...

The one in the middle....

She looks like a 25 dollar date like that. What a shame, she's very pretty otherwise.

I'm like BIGDEAL, in my line of work I try not to go home with new holes. With that said as long as it is done ta****lly, I like ink and piercings. Most of the people I deal with go way overboard with them then can't figure out why nobody will hire them in a good paying job.
