Scam

I finally got the e-mail scam where the guy from Africa asks you to deposit his fake check and send him the amount after your 15% fee. Are these people really that stupid? Or should I say are the people that fall for it that ignorant? Has anyone else received this? I kept the e-mail in case anyone wants to read it.

Please don't post another one of those in it's entirety. I've gotten tons of them.
Appearently, that's a New Twist however.
Usually the scam isn't where he gives you a fake check, or anything else for that matter. All the giving is at your end. He tells you he needs some money for 'this and that' to help facilitate moving the funds to your bank account. Also from what I hear, if you give him your bank account numbers, you will find yourself broke. There are even a few reports where people have gone to Africa, never to be heard from again.
One lawyer's secretary not to far from here made local news when she got 'hit up' for millions via this scam.
Here are Bunches of comments with links on the older scam.
