Question question

What do you think when you see this picture?

I'm getting some interesting comments from a slightly more liberal message board.

edit: they were defending ELF's decision to torch Hummers btw.

Why is the Expy sideswiping a white picket fence?

Somebody pointed that out on the other board.

It's actually about two feet away from the fence. The fence is there because the dogs go out through the garage door to the side yard. If the fence wasn't there the husky would run away whenever the wife came home while they were out.

I see someone that most likely works their butt off to afford nice vehicles. I see someone that has responsibility. I see someone that knows what it is like to succeed in life. I see someone that knows how to get what they want by legal means. I see someone that is NOT living off the government nor receiving free food. I see someone that does not have their lazy butt on a couch watching Oprah and whining about BS. I see someone that has “personal responsibility”.

I see someone that most likely owns a nice wooden bat, and if not can afford one and believes that ELF’s heads are about the right height for ball practice…

Nothing better then a family reunion, introducing the ELF to their long lost second cousin the TREE, just refined into a nice wooden bat…

Yep, you got my wife pretty much figured out.

Me on the other hand, I stick around the house and take care of the kid

An observation and a guestion:

1: Do you wish you'd made the garage 6 feet wider and 6 feet deeper?
2: Is that a venetian blind on the garage window to the left? Because if so, I believe it's the nicest decorated garage I've ever seen. I have two big windows on the far side of my garage, that are just covered in dust and spider webs.

Nicely done E.A. .

I notice an absence of insulation or sound deadening between the garage ceiling and the floor joists. Must not be code there.

Thanks for the thumbs up.
This is my only hobby (cars) so I feel justified in spending the time and money. When I'm on my 3 weeks at home, you will find me in the garage. I don't play golf, fish, go to games etc, just work on my cars.
The building conforms to all British regs. The only thing I couldn't do was to have a normal access door between the garage and the house.
You have to have a mega expensive fire door so I went without.
It took me 20 years to get a garage like this but it was worth the wait.
