Please take no offense to this, but is that the wifes garage? A white picket fence, a ladder, 2 vehicles and nothing else.

Where is the mess???? Where are the un-wound extension coords, empty boxes, scattered tools, powertools, storage racks, oil stains, etc ?????

If thats your garage, please share in the secret of how you keep it so clean cause I'm jealous.

Then again if I had a garage that clean I'd be to scared to put anything in it other then cars.

Nice one there E.A.

Mines actually the 3 car, the mess is on the other side, but it's not too terrible either. The tools are in a bit of dissarray though.

The fence was actually my idea. It turned out pretty cool I thought. The blinds were a required thing, homeowners association and all.

Sure, I admit that there are practical uses for SUVs--I think of those as "working SUVs". But let's face it--the vast majority of SUVs out there are purely cosmetic, and thus shallow. Also, in many cases where you find a "Working SUV", a pickup truck would actually be a much better choice. All of the dudes who work construction that I know sneer at SUVs as soccer mom cars or souped up minivans, not trucks.

But I would never put down somebody who has a working SUV or truck. And you will notice that there is very little public outcry about pickups. Why? because they are rarely frivolous, where SUVs almost always are.

So yeah, I believe there is justification, though I am not convinced that you have one. Why don't you show us?
Ok, I shouldn't have started a justification issue on this. My Bad, it wasn't my intention to justify the owning of one. I have, IMHO, justification for one of those rigs. The other, well it was between a nice volvo or that truck (it's not a true SUV). Well, the truck is a much nicer rig and quite a bit cheaper. The fuel economy is 10mpg less, so cry yourself a river. My real intention was to troll and thumb my nose at the anti SUV crowd. You can insult me and draw the "you got insecurities" agrument. I couldn't give a crap. Insecurities or not I'll buy another, and another, and another. You want to get SUV's off the road, well, call your congressman. Destroying private property is wrong and only costs EVERYONE in the end. Especially when you burn stuff up and cause more pollution than 1000 hummers will put out in 10 years.

One other thing, I subscribe to the theory that ELF is really just a socialistic group trying to "bring down capatalism". Read through their web page. You'll see references to capatalism everywhere. I don't believe for a minute they are interested in saving the environment but using the environment as justification for their actions againt capitalism. That's my .02 anyway.
