Thinking about a Mustang...
I just traded in a 2003 GT vert on my PSD. It was a great car, no quality problems. I only owned it for six months. I never got to drive it, only put 2000 miles on it.
I thought it would be nice to have a sports car too. They are impractical but fun. I will do it again someday. Too much rain this year in Florida to enjoy it.

Are you looking at an old one?:

Or a new one?:

The white Stang is a 2002, and I've had no problems. The red one is a 73, and I've had my share of problems. We just dropped a new engine in it. Now she purrs like a kitten...
Speaking of which... we got a new one this weekend... I know Burt will approve....

Hey decoy!
A long time ago I was looking out the window of the office toward the parking lot. I commented to the guy next to me that it appeared that one of his employees had a pretty hot-looking new car. He replied that, "Few things in life are more gratifying than a new employee buying a new car with their first pay check." When I asked him to explain he said, "Now I know that I have him by the sack."
Just a little something to think about.

I have a 91 Mustang LX Hatch that I mess around with. It's a ton of fun and the aftermarket is huge if you like to go faster. It's easy to work on too if you like to turn a wrench. The newer modulars are definitely smoking up the pavement too, but you have to have some pretty deep pockets if you want to go faster.

I like my '02 'vert pretty good. It doesn't have the power of the Lightning, but is much improved over previous years. It's fun to drive, especially being a convertible. I only drive mine about 50 miles a week, if that, on average. I haven't had any problems with it. Eventually, I plan to add a mach 1 chin spoiler, possibly new rims (undecided which ones yet), and maybe some lowering springs (about 1" all around).

) I will soon enough. I love it...esp. the vintage ones...you just can't beat them old ones....
