Hi dan!!
It is a part you can get from the dealer, but I don't know what it costs.
I know somebody has a link to documentation that is available on the web, maybe from Ford's website, I don't remember. I bought my 98 used and bought a manual off E-Bay for $15.
I'm sure someone will be along soon with more ideas. Check out the site, not only is it addictive, but you'll quickly learn to ask folks here for their advice before going to the stealership.

Thanks! Ebay has almost everything. I'll check it out. I'm new to the site and have had all Fords except for my first car which was a Dodge Dart. It's great to know there is something out in cyberspace just for us.
