Cool Another newbie saying hi.....

Hi........I'm new

I've never really been much into fords - pretty much a die hard chevy guy, but my dad was selling his '98 F-150, and I needed another car, so I picked it up. So far so good.

Been a ford owner for 3 days now.

Welcome from another Michigander. So where abouts in the big mitten are you? I'm just north (not even a mile off the border) of Detroit.

Welcome

Hi y'all! Welcome to F150online from Canyon Lake, Texas I drove Chevy's most of my life, but switched to Fords when Chevy quit making a truck that fit my needs. Last three trucks have been Fords w/No Regrets

Welcome aboard and good luck with your new Ford truck. You will find it is easy to make money with if you have a lot of Chevy friends, you know giving them rides to work, parts store, repair shops...

No pics of the truck yet, but here is one of my Z first time at the track. I'm the Silver Z with black outs:

1/4: 13.605
MPH: 110.51

I'm sure with a better launch I'll be mid 12's (my mph supports that). It was my first run - well only to date, and I took it easy on the launch, as I didn't know what to expect.

It's a 4.6, with a Standard Cab and an 8 Foot Bed with a cap - though I am thinking of getting rid of the cap and going with a tonneau cover. I also plan to update the Rims and get some better tires (BFGoodrich AT's).

I'm from Grand Rapids - West side of the state.

I won't mind helping out my "Chevy Friends" but I think I'll draw the line at helping them move.

- And to the rest of you guys, thanks for making me feel welcome.
