WOW!

I'll bet that's just what he did at that moment. I know sharks like the blood but I wonder if crapping ones wet suit would repel one?

It's just a dolphin, look at the direction the rear tail is.

Sharks tails are vertical, dolphins are horizontal like in the picture.

Saw the picture on another site and the 'experts' agreed it was a dolphin. Would still make your heart stop if you were the surfer.

re: filling your pants, I saw an animal show on TV that claimed sharks are very attracted to mammal urine in the water. Can smell it from far far away. Makes sense. Afterall, seals and other marine mammals (i.e. shark bait) all use the ocean for their business...

I bet at the time he didn't know it was a dolphin. Anyways dolphins are as friendly as people think. I've had a couple attack me when I've been surfing. No sharks though thank god!

I get wigged out when I feel a little minnow or something brush past my leg in the water... for that I would run on top of the water, and that is saying something...I'm like 300 lbs @ 6'3"
Shark, Dolphin, Tuna, etc...I don't care..anything that friggin big I pulling a Forest Gump and runNing!
