Indiana is going through a nasty reaccessment right now. In some counties the property taxes have increased 300% ! It dosen't matter how old your house is they are basing it on replacement value......not depreciation! This really sucks! Especially for older people who are on fixed incomes. I dont see how in the hell some of them are going to pay it! Not only does the reaccessment suck, they have been calculating the taxes wrong since 1985 & we are going to have to pay for their mistake as well!

 

Makes me glad my taxes are only $92.00 per YEAR !!!
