Well I have been thinking about testing it just a little more till the 04's come out. I figure that would be a good time to come back in from my test drive and see if they will let me test drive a new 04...

Talking I hit the jackpot!!!!

I really hit a goldmine when my father-in-law asked me if I wanted to take over payments on his '99 F150 SuperCab XLT. He's desperately waiting for the '04s to come out and preferred on someone in the family to take over payments on this ride instead of letting someone else take it REALLY cheap.

The outcome?

$260/month for 36 months!!!

Made out like a bandit!!!

(Previous ride....'81 Ford F150. )

800 a month!
They might have as well just asked me for a kidney.
At least I could have drove the truck two months before I collapsed on the side of the road.

That should be never signed for. To be honest no one mentioned anything about a payment. It went like this:

Ford - "Would you like to test drive that truck?"

Me - "Yes, I would love to test drive that truck"

Ford - "Here are the keys and we put on a dealer plate so it's legal for you to drive on the street".

Me - "Thanks, is that it?"

Ford - "Yep, have fun test driving the truck"

I ask do you see anything in there that made mention of some monthly payments?

I mean come on I am still testing out the truck to see if I like it, it only has 38,000 miles on it, so the test is still in progress. However the test is looking good but I am thinking about asking for some good discounts on the account of miles this thing has on it....

Just tell 'em you wanted to see how it felt once it was broke in a little.

Actually I was going to pay cash with my retirement payment on accrued vacation time, but this let's me use that money for some small time investments and I saved the kidney for later donations.

Hate to ask what you're doing to Barbie that makes her left shoe keep falling off.

Talk to Ken.
They are the only two in there when I turn the lights out.

All I know is he always has a smile on his face.

You sure that's Ken, and not Danny DeVito?
