Ok so I'm driving home afterwork down I-565. Cruising bout 75 and listening to the radio. All of a sudden some guy is cruising beside me with his window down trying to get my attention. Hes dying to know where I got my red hitch cover from. Also tells me how good my truck looks.

This ever happen to you?

 

I had someone pull up next to me a long time ago while we were stopped at a red light and started asking me questions about my trailer hitch. He wanted to know where I got it and how much I paid for it. The light turned green and we started getting up to the speed limit and he was still hollering out the window and askin me questions about the hitch. He yelled back and said he wanted to know so he could get one. At least he was in a Ford though.

Heh...

I was talking to a guy at the gas station just yesterday. He was driving a 2001 F-150 4x4 ext cab...all the goodies. He started asking me about my truck and he commented on how good it looked...he really liked the additions that I have made to it. At first he didnt believe me that it was 10 years old with 224,000 miles on it.

He had me start it up and rev up the pipes a little bit...needless to say I almost had him drooling, he was quite impressed. He said he wouldnt trade his Ford for anything in the world...but he also pointed out that he has some newfound respect for Chevys.

 

I had a guy pull me over asking me about my Xenarcs on my truck. I think alot of us will get the 'neck snap' from people sitting at stoplights... just face it, we have some AWESOME trucks.

Speaking of your Xenarcs...how do you like them? They look really sweet. Do you have any problem with people flashing you?

Too bad they dont make them for my style of truck...only the 99-02 Chevys. I was looking at the Auxiliary light kit though...think it would be worthwhile?
