Without my glasses on, I can only see up to about 1-2 feet clearly. After that everything becomes blurry. I can take off my glasses and sit about a foot and a half from the computer screen and can't make out any thing on the screen.

I can't remember the exact number of my vision the last time that i had my eyes checked, but mine was in the 300 range. I think they said 400 was legally blind. At least those are the numbers that I think they gave me, but I could be wrong.

Also in my left ear, I only have like 30-40% hearing and have had surgery twice to try and correct that, but still have a hard time hearing.

Thats what Iam afraid of........If I go ahead a do it, I want to do one eye at a time

Update:

Currently three hours post-op. Beyond the normal haze, reminiscent of the haze you see when you first wake up to start a hangover, my vision seems crystal clear, perhaps better than with my glasses. Still a little dry-eyed, but nowhere near what I expected to be. More details to follow in the next few days. I am supposed to keep my eyes closed for a couple more hours.

you are going through the same stages my friend went through after his surgury... his eyes were pretty dry for a few days, maybe a week at most..

he said that once his eyes started clearing up, everything was perfect!

get some rest & don't watch the spice channel!
