Powell & Rice
Powell & Rice
Has anyone noticed that the Democrats have blasted just about all of Bush's key people except Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice . I am not saying they did anything wrong but I wonder why nothing is said about them.I guess it's about politics and keeping votes.
Powell pushed for the inclusion of international forces with credibility such as N.A.T.O. and the U.N. He has urged caution and common sense. He really deserves no criticism. He is serving our country valiantly under a lousy Commander in Chief.
Condolizzard Rice on the other hand is an incompetent shill. She will tow whatever partyline she is handed. She was in charge of the National Security Agencies Soviet Affairs Division for over a year before the U.S.S.R. fell under Jr's daddys administration. They didn't even see it coming and it caught everyone off guard.
She was a leading member of the commision that recommended putting our women in combat situations during the mid nintys. Anyone who thinks that is a good idea has rocks for brains.
The biggest criticism must be reserved for bush. We have nearly 150,000 men and women posing as targets in 115 degree heat in full battle gear surrounded by people who hate their guts. We did not HAVE to go there to begin with, but now that we stirred up this septic tank we have to clean it up no matter how much it costs or how many of our family and friends get killed or wounded.
Since Codolizzard Rice thinks its such a good idea for our nations girls to be in combat I wonder why she hasn't volunteered or why bush's drunk little girls don't go pull a tour of duty there.
If bush would have built up that many troops around Afganistan we probably could have captuerd Osama and Omar. Remember them? They are the people responsible for attacking our country, man it would sure be nice to have a president that remembered 9/11. Oh well maybe after 04.

Boy is this not a typical liberal response. Let’s see if we can dig all the liberal comments out and put them into their proper perspective.
First, “Condolizzard” it is Condoleezza Rice, there is no lizard in her name, so there’s your first clue you have a liberal on your hands (name calling). So what is wrong with her, that she is a women in power, a minority in power or both? She is very competent in her field and has to deal with the information she receives. Due to many of years neglect of the liberals and doing their best to tear away and authority of the CIA to actually collect reliable field data it a miracle we knew what we did about the Soviet Union. It is not her fault alone for misjudgments but the institution and those that put that institution together as it was, many liberals stripping power away from the CIA and who they could pay and have work for them to gather information. I am not taking her off the hook for missing it, but rather putting it into the proper context as to why it happened. The information is only as reliable as the methods allow it to be, without “on the ground” intel it is not so reliable.
So, she is at fault for women in combat? No I don’t think so. This again comes straight from the liberals commandos on the ground, like the N.O.W and other liberal groups that think everything for everyone should be equal. Let’s remember that NOT one women serving in combat has been FORCED to do so, it is ALL voluntary. Most conservatives and mainstream people do NOT believe women should be in combat, but the liberals groups has forced it into being, so deal with it, if you don’t like it contact your local liberal and insist it be changed.
Next,
First, if you stop and actually study the current situation that has been going on the past 10 – 15 years then YES we do have to be in Iraq, it is the capital of terriosm. Anyone that does not believe that is living in a cave.
Second, if you read my post on “What the liberals REALLY say about Iraq” then you would realize that the liberals also believe we should be in Iraq, they have been saying it for years, and Billy boy would now and then play tough guy and make “empty” threats which helped to instill in the terriost minds that America does NOT have the resolve to solve the problems with them.
Again this goes to the liberals thinking it is better to give the school bully their milk money with the false belief he will leave them alone, let’s please remember why we are now having to deal with North Korea, because the liberal mindset, now it has proven it does NOT work…
Again, more name calling, someone is a lizard, and two young girls who did NOT run, nor were elected to any public office are called “little drunk girls” The reason neither Condoleezza Rice nor President Bush’s daughters do NOT need to go serve is because it is their choice NOT to do so. What happen to you liberals and your strong stand on “Freedom of choice”?
First, let’s not forget your liberal buddy Clinton had 3, yes 3 chances at having Bin Laden but yet he passed on the opportunity, most likely based on his empty threats. The other comment about President Bush not remembering 9/11 that is the STUPIDIST statement I have ever heard, why do you think we are in Iraq? Like I said before it is funny as hell watching the liberals crack up because they are loosing power everyday and more will loose power in 2004 when President Bush is re-elected by a nice majority and both houses will be controlled by the republican. The biggest reason both house will be controlled by the republicans is because the majority of the public is more scared of the liberals and how they are wacking out, then they are of actually terriost themselves. They know IF power were returned to the liberals that America would be in the gravest danger ever…

The crocodile tears over name calling are quite laughable. Go to any political chat room on the net or nearly any letters to the editor section of any newspaper and you will find much much worse name calling from both sides of the political extreme. For that matter turn on hate, I mean talk radio. However I will take it to heart and use her proper name.
Condolezza Rice was indeed an influencial member of the panel that gave the recommendation to put our girls into harms way. She fully agreed to the idea and takes some of the credit for it. Crying "liberal" over everything cannot change the facts of her incompetency. The Conservatives were in charge of the NSA for ten years before the U.S.S.R. fell and that agency had been and is still very well funded indeed. All of those facts can easily be checked using GOOGLE and your keypad.
No, women are not forced to be where they are as far as combat is concerned. But it is not a good idea and civilized people for thousands of years have kept their women out of harms way, or at least tried to. I still think it's a good idea for many reasons.
Perhaps if Georgie's daddy had not incited Iraqis to rise against Saddam in 1991 and then let them be slaughtered while our jets flew overhead with orders not to do anything there would be tens of thousands of Iraqis still alive. Again these facts can be proved by using GOOGLE, using your library and your newspaper archives. Also, ask any pilot who was there.
A fact almost always omitted by members of the hard right is that when Saddam gassed and murdered most of the Kurds he was an Ally of the United States. We were arming him before, during and after those attacks. We were even giving him satellite intelligence. The Conservatives controlled the State dept. during this time. Again all of these facts can be verified by the afore mentioned means.
No one has ever called Saddam a nice guy. But there are actually dictators out there who have killed far more of their own people than Saddam. We have been friends to dictators who were nearly as bad as him in the past.
The suggestion that I hang myself because I come to a different political conclusion than some of the other posters here speaks volumes. Should I take those suggestions to their logical conclusion then perhaps I should prepare for a crazed lynch mob at my door. I shan't be causing harm to myself now or in the future and since that outcome seems to be desired by some here it is reasonable for me to expect for someone who is easily manipulated to try and carry out that wish. For those who would try I can only suggest "bring lots of friends and pack a lunch".
Umm, I follow national politics and foriegn policy a lot closer than most Americans and do not come to the conclusion that we HAD to go to Iraq. And even if I am wrong on that account (which I am not) then Bush incompetently lost 90% of world support for our anti terrorist pursuits and left us nearly alone in Iraq.
If one follows what is happening in Great Britain one would realize that Blair(a man most conservatives used to deride as a hopeless liberal) is in serious political trouble from both major parties and will probably be thrown out of office during the next election. When that happens we will be utterly alone in Iraq unless you consider the Polish Army to be a major world player.
It is our patriotic duty to support our troops why they are over there and I do. I have friends and loved ones deployed as I type. They are doing a fabulous job despite the abject incompetence of the Whitehouse. We are stuck there for the forseeable future and our troops need all the help they can get. Unfortunatly Rumsfield will not give them that help because he would have to concede a political mistake. Americans may well die because Rummy does not want to admit we need more people on the ground. Such an admission might make him look bad but it would save lives. Guess which one this individual cares about.
For the record I am not even a liberal. I think they are as nuts as the hard right. I even wanted to vote for a different Republican in 2000 had he not been so badly slandered by members of his own party during the primarys and thus unavailable for my vote. I did not and will not vote for the current occupant of the oval office.
As far as my living in a cave. Well others have criticized my home interior selections but hey I am not an interior decorator.

Reading your comments is sounds as if you believe they should be barefoot and pregnant all time
Everyone screams for equality for everything, but as soon as something questionable or negative pops up they scream for an exception. Double standard.
If a female wants to be in the army, why not? Whats wrong with them being independant and not needing a man to take care of them? What to many men will be threatened by it?
I don't think wemon should be on the front line, why? They're more weak. Are all of them? NO? But a guy is less likely to crack under pressure. That's why men go into battle and not wemon.
Although, it would keep a lot of them from becoming gay.

Equality comes with everything, it's not a pick and choice catagory.

What exactly is your definition of a fact? Something from a liberal paper or conservative paper? Is it something from the Internet web site? If that is where you get your facts then you’re in very sad shape. Just because someone states something or repeats what they hear does not make it a fact.
I give you the philosophy behind what I stand for, and what liberals stand for. I do not need to present a “fact” that tells people that liberals are for hand outs and conservatives are for say teaching someone something so they don’t need a hand out, it is simple philosophy.
Nick made good points and I respect the points he has made, however it does not make it a fact, but rather his particular belief on a subject in part based on his philosophy and his particular values. That does not mean his are any more important or less important then mine, simply a difference in belief based in part on philosophy, values and how he interrupts facts as to how I may interrupt facts.
Do not get caught up in “facts” because for the most part when one side, be it liberal or conservative put something up as a “fact” you had better question its creditability and reasoning.
Though Nick has good points in his post and “points” to “facts” does not make them factual, who is to know who assembled these “facts” on which he based his conclusions?
This is not to say there are not good and hard facts out there to rely on when backing a particular belief or statement. You can also make some good assumptions for a factual statement, such as if I work it’s a good probability that for a fact I will get paid. That does not indeed make it an absolute fact, but one could make a reasonable assumption that it would be a very factual statement. However you could put in 40 hours, the company goes belly up and you don’t see any pay check, so never assume your facts are always going to be correct or that the foundation is always solid and guaranteed.
If there were absolute facts in everything there would never be a need for anyone to ever debate an issue. Very rarely if ever is a fact absolute. So before you go saying that so and so spouts off about something with no facts, and another one does a great job because they have facts, you may want to study and reassess you’re “facts”…
The suggestion that I hang myself because I come to a different political conclusion than some of the other posters here speaks volumes.

I don't feel like shouting against the wind today. Political arguments, or discussions, with Libs are generally little more than a waste of breath anyway; so, I decided to resort to name calling and character assassination instead. As a Liberal, you should understand perfectly. It's kinda fun actually. You mental midgets may be onto something here. It's very stress relieving.
