facts, opinions and common sense need to be balanced.

Facts are a dangerous thing. They are not necessarily objective, but rather subjective. A fact or figure can be manipulated in any direction the sender wishes to skew your opinion.

For example... same fact but look at how a liberal verus conservative news source handles it and manipulates it.

So 01XLT is right to not rely 100% on the facts and use some common sense/judgement to for his own opinion.

"The fact is I did not have sex with that woman"
"The fact is read my lips, no new taxes"
etc

01 and his fellow political hacks keep regurgitating the same old party line. God forbid a Liberal should post something backed up with facts. Said Liberal will be shot down anyway with the same old regurgitated conservative party line, only this time said with more volume.

Ever watched those news shows where they have both sides of the issue represented? The conservative side totally ignores the facts the liberal side brings to the table. The conservative side then goes on the offensive by simply talking over and talking louder than the other side. It happens over and over and over again and again.

I just ignore what he writes if it's over 3 paragraphs long. I ignore anybody who has no respect for anybody who doesn't agree with him 100%. Both extremes in political views are bad and we should come to terms somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately, with people like 01, the anger he has festering in him makes that impossible. It's imossible to deal with anybody who only sees red when people don't agree with him 100%.

Although, it would keep a lot of them from becoming gay. <sorry
Do you really believe that? A straight person can be made gay? Or conversely that a gay person can be made straight?

There are those that would have us believe homosexuality is genetic. I don't believe it. Every person has homosexuality as a possible outcome due to personal experiences and the conditioning we receive throughout life. I'm no expert; but, I'm sure it's a lot more complicated than.... "He was born that way." That is just stupid. It's also tha laziest explanation possible.

Are you sure you know the difference between liberal and conservative. Any time I've ever watched Crossfire, the exact opposite of what you described has occured. In fact, the liberals generally spend the entire show talking out of turn, and trying to prevent the conservative from completing an argument or an answer to any question they are asked.

You always tend to get so angry and tense when someone else speaks their views that don't agree with yours, and then try to shut them up by making them look bad, typical liberal playbook...

For the record I have ALWAYS stated I have respect for others that do not agree with my views, however your distaste or hate towards those "you" disagree with blinds you from actually reading the post correctly. You like using the "same ol" plays from the same ol' play book that when you can not get someone to agree with you and someone else may have some listening to his “views” to completely skew the situation and/or try to portray the other as “the bad guy” the “angry one”. It is also known as spin, simple state your view and/or beliefs rather then “attacking” someone for theirs. At least when I post in response to something I do NOT just come in saying “This guy is a nut, very angry” and leave it at that I also state “why” I think their view is wrong and mine is right.

Yes, I have watched what your talking about on TV shows where there are political debates and very, very rarely is there ever a conservative shouting down a liberal, usually on all the main stream media the conservatives are out numbered and the liberals are the ones shouting and looking like complete idiots just trying to make a useless point about what ever it is they are talking about, or completely flipping their views based on who is in power.

My views do NOT change depending who is in power. Just because I may debate well and present my side with more passion because it actually comes from what I personally believe in does not make it “anger festering inside” get a grip, I would have figured by now that of all the people, of which I have respect for, would have figured the typical liberal play of “if you can not win a debate then destroy the other with untruths and being nasty” would never shut me down or effect my passion for what I believe. That is the difference between those that just talk the talk and those that can actually walk the walk…

Political arguments, or discussions, with Libs are generally little more than a waste of breath anyway; so, I decided to resort to name calling and character assassination instead. As a Liberal, you should understand perfectly. It's kinda fun actually. You mental midgets may be onto something here. It's very stress relieving.
Well said!

It is the opposite, it is just that liberals love to twist and spin something into the opposite of what they actually do. You rarely see conservatives acting like idiots on TV or anywhere else, its the liberals name calling that controls they mass media...
