Again, thank you to everyone for all your support. I speak on behalf of our entire family when I say that we sincerely appreciate it.

As an update, I saw my grandmother today (3 hour roadtrip, one way, down to Vanderbilt Univ. Hospital in Nashville). She's in good spirits however is VERY sore and pretty beat up. She has 3 cracked ribs, a broken ankle, and a pretty good concussion. Her back is kind of messed up however they don't think it's broken or very serious.

We're going to get through this.... thanks again for all the support.

RP

I'm glad she's going to be ok RP. Hang in there and be with her. Grandma's are God's special and precious gift to us. There's no other love in the world like the love of a grandma.

Just to keep everyone updated as I've had a few questions about this situation via private message on AOL IM...

My grandmother is back in our home town now at the local hospital. She is going to be starting rehabilitation and will be under observation for about a week (so it's been said).

The bruises are still there. The ribs are cracked and the ankle broken. Many people have been affected by this tragedy...

Thanks again to everyone for all your thoughts and prayers. It appears as though we might be able to write in a final chapter to this saga and that everything will, ultimately, be alright.

Not a problem CL... things are going very well and the outlook is bright. She *MIGHT* get released tomorrow and obviously, that's a VERY good thing.

Thanks again CL... I really appreciate it.
