I guess some of the agents of the British Secret Service didn't pass this test.

Last week Lady Di's eldest son Prince William, held his 21 st birthday party.
Among the crowd was a total stranger, dressed up as Osama Bin Laden.
No one new the guy and he had never been checked.
He could have had a bomb on him easily.
Imagine what could have happened.

My guess would be the world would mourn the loss of the royal family and guests, and when the mournig was over, the UK would have to find a way to boost turism.

Just a guess.

From: Rio Grande Valley, Tx and the United Kingdom.
So tourists come over here to see the Royal Family do they.

That is so sad !!!

(Only being half serious)
....I grew up to respect the Royal family...but being somewhat older than Charlie Boy have seen all the shenannigans they have got up to and have very little respect for them I'm afraid.

THOUGH it must be said I still respect the institution and no one else comes close when it comes to the associated pagentry.

All I hope is that when it becomes Williams' turn he will have seen so much at close quarters of what can, and does, go wrong, then he will (Get it.... Will ) make every effort to return some respect to our befuddled Royals.

Unfortunately Charlie Boy gets to come first, and I am sure he will outlive me, so I won't get to see King William reign again !

I have always found it hard to respect born position rather than earned. The Royals are welfare taken to the N th degree.

Sorry Len, didn't mean to ruffle feathers, that just a single colonists opinion. My wife loves them and watches and reads everything to do with them.

Hey...you didn't ruffle my feathers...I have as little time for them now as anyone.

The closest I ever got to any of them was one year I was on the Jaguar stand at the London Earls Court Motor Show, and the next second hushed to one corner to make room for Lady Di !

At the very least, she earned her position.
