I do believe it is a Neon... pretty sweet isn't it? The rims really make the vehicle...

The Rendezvous. That is a ugly SUV in my opinion. It looks a lot like the Aztek just with out the plastic.

It is the Aztek...

Same platform, and made in the same place.

Regarding the Aztek....

It was mentioned earlier that the schmuck who designed that POS was also designing the new C6 Vette....

That was true until Maximum Bob Lutz came on board at GM. He took one look at the new vette and had a fit and sent the whole thing back to be re-designed.

The Aztek really is one of ugliest, poorly designed vehicles I can think of. It was a serious attempt at cool and it looks instead like vomit on wheels.

The reason the VW THING is "cool" is because it was totally intended to be ugly, that was the whole marketing idea behind it. I mean...look at the name they gave it..."The Thing". Was it ugly...you bet, but it was cool...there's nothing like a little self-depricating humour when you intentionally put something like that out on the market.

The Aztek however was serious. Those yahoos at The Tubes actually thought this was cutting edge. Big Mistake.

I cannot even imagine why a company as Large as GM would even allow that thing to be produced and marketed. I mean I would have the board members of Pontiac in my office ripping off some heads.

I would rub there noses in it litteraly by grabbing them on the back of the necks, and sticking there noses on the thing screaming "LOOK WHAT YOU DID YOU FN MORONS!! YOU ARE ALL FIRED!!"

"WE ARE CLOSING PONTIAC DOWN"

That thing is not even normal. It looks like it goes in a B-Movie for outer space.

Pontiac must be the whipping boy of GM...they have to be.

LOL the Gemlin and the Pacer. One thing I didn't like was the Pinto. Or Chevy Vega.

You know what is bad? I actually owned one a Yugo. They are as big of a piece of junk as they are ugly. Paid $350 for it and managed to get it home, and that is where it stayed until my uncle came and towed it off for a trade in.

It was a 4 speed, if I can remember correctly, well not exactly. I was only 15 and didn't even have a drivers liscense so my dad drove it home for me. the whole way home he was shifting from first to third, because he couldn't find second gear. It would always go into 4th, when trying to put in it 2nd.

Oh how that was the biggest waste of $350 dollars that I have ever spent.
