I saw it too but, there must be a catch...

Sounds like a DAMN GOOD way to get a 'FREE' rental vehicle for a short period of time to me...

LOL!

Looks like I'll be saving the company some money in the coming months.

ROFL!

WHAT??? You mean you don't instantly hit mute or change channels when you see one of those commercials??

Seriously though, here is a link for more info. I don't know what the fine print is - but this isn't really anything all that groundbreaking. I took my '00 SD home for the night before I ever committed to buying it. Most dealers realize that if they get it in your hands it makes it easier for them to convince you (when you are a serious prospect anyway).

Gotta think your inability to stand or remain still for more than 2 seconds in the showroom (after that gallon of coffee) will get you into nothing more exciting than a GEO. As an alternative, you might try to get an Avalanche and drive the plastic off of it.

You don't have to drive it, after a month the Plastic just falls off on its own...

Personally, I like the Atztec, whenever I see one, I think to myself:
"Oh look, the avalanche just took a big fat dump, and look what came out"

Aha haha ahahaha

About the ad...I believe they only allow you 100 miles, and Vettes can't be taken home. However...if the dealer was close to a drag strip... Hmmmm

What an awesome idea!!! I can understand them puttin limits on certain cars/trucks, they have to cover their butts in case something happens. I think FORD should jump on board and do this as well. With my hubby thinking about a F250, it would be great to be able to drive one all day and compare the different options, engines, etc.

Some Ford dealers do that. Where I bought my Ford they let me take it out all day to see "how I liked it". So I did

I think most dealers would be willing to let someone take something for the day if they are a serious buyer and know they can get them approved for a loan.
