Masters Golf Tournament
I have to vent. What is up with these stupid left-wing feminist extremists? They are protesting the Augusta National golf club because they don't accept women. So what? They are a private club, they can do what they want! If they are so mad, why don't they go start their own golf club? Heck, while they are at it, why don't they go protest the Shriners?(sp.?) The tournament has started, why don't they stop? Oh, that's right, Martha Burk wants to make a name for herself. She has to be on tv at least every other day. I wonder if she is related to Jessie Jackson?

YOU start your own club and then you are TOLD who can be in it?
I know something of clubs and let me tell you there are ALOT more PRIVATE clubs out there than Augusta National. ANCC even lets women play golf just not be a member. There are a few clubs that will not even let them on the property.
What is wrong with a private club that is say all Jewish or Catholic or WASP or Men or Women (1 is women will not support a club on their own). If you belonged to a CC and say were Jewish would you want to go to your club and have a Christmas tree? or visa versa?
Just because Augusta opens its doors to patrons for 1 week does not make it a public facility.

GOLF = Gentlemen Only, Ladies Forbidden. True story. I think these liberal women should start thir own golf clubs. Hell, get Oprah to pay for it, she's worth over 1 Billion.
It's not GA, its the liberal women from the big cities starting this mess. Augusta National will close forever before they give in. It's a privately owned club, there's no legal footing for the women to invade lol.

I didn’t say that, a guy at work says it all the time and really tries to enforce the right giving by MAN.

That one eats me up!
Dont get me wrong, I feel the same about all ethnicities; there are good and bad in all colors. But thats really some bull **** IMO.
A buddy of mine has a kid headed for college. The kid has been honor roll since he started school. He's involved in volleyball, and that student govt. stuff. Great kid all around. BUT, he cant get a frickin Dime toward college because 1. He' s white -sorry but its true. 2. He is into sports, but not quite tall enough to be considered desireable in Basketball or Volleyball so no sports scholarship. 3. His parents make 'too much money' in the opinion of the colleges. But HE only has a crappy little job stocking shelves so how the heck does the income of his parents effect his qualification?!?

On a serious note, if I started a club or business of any kind and it is solely owned by private interests, with no government subsidies, then get the h-e-double hockey sticks out of my life. I'll run it the way I chose.
And while I'm at it, we're getting into the right to lifers also. If I'm a woman, I'll be the one and only one to say what goes on with my body and it's internal parts. Unless I can be proven incompetent or suicidal in a court of law, then "quit ruinin' my life", and it is MY life...!!!!!
