I went to www.oscar.com and clicked on the 'contact us" link. I told them that when the first person gets on stage and uses it to express anti-Pres Bush or Anti-war I was going to contact every sponsor and tell that their products or services will no longer be required and why, along with ABC.
I can't say that I'm interested in watching it at all, but I thought I'd at least give them something to think about.

 

Looks like movie stars would be all for war. They don't mind making movies where thousands of people die, but when it comes to real war they tuck there tails like a whipped dog.

 

I did the same. I told them the first anti war or anti Bush speech I hear and I will change the channel and never watch the Academy awards show again. (I don't think I have ever watched it, hehehe). The awards show should be about accepting an award and not personal opinions on politics or religion.

 

I never watch those shows anyway... I couldn't care less how many awards this one gets, or what million dollar dish towel that one wore... They're all a bunch of over paid, ungrateful, pompous fools... okay, well most of them...
