LOL i thought this was a joke.....
until i heard it on the news this morning!

Paratroopers from the 16th Air Assault Brigade were testing mortars and artillery when they suddenly saw about a dozen Iraqi soldiers coming at them with their hands up, waving a white flag. The Iraqi soldiers heard the explosions and thought the war had begun! The British dutifully explained that the war hadn't started yet, so they weren't authorized to accept POWs. The Iraqis were ordered back home.
