I just went out and bought the new Audio Slave cd. It's been out for a little while, but it has to be the best cd I have ever bought! I think the song "Like a Stone" kicks serious azz! Just thought I'd comment on it.

 

I agree, Audio Slave is cool. I've never been much of a Rage fan (I do have one of their CD's) but I've been into Soundgarden for a while. I think that Chris Cornell works well with the Rage guys.

 

Definitely the best work from Tom Morello!

 

Did you guys ever notice that Chris Cornell sounds like the lead singer of Creedence clearwater Revival (CCR)? The resemblance(sp?) in their voices are amazing. I'm not that big of a "rage" fan either, but the vocals in "Like A Stone" sends chills down my spine!

 

same here, never been too big on rage (i like a couple of their songs, but dont have any of their cd's), but i love the new audioslave cd. chris cornell works great with those guys

 

I always liked these bands, Soundgarden and Rage, but the combination that forms Audioslave is amazing. Before the release I was skeptical, but the entire CD from 1st to last song is great.
