what a night it has been
.001% alcohol in California is an automatic DUI for a minor (under 21 years old). The lady I love was almost killed by a drunk driver when she was young. She and her family got into a head-on collision with the drunk and luckily she was in her family's Ford Bronco...the only thing that saved their lives. The drunk driver wasn't as fortunate. His face was peeled off the windshield. No joke, don't ever drink and drive!
My hombre, 01XLT pretty much summed up everything I was going to say.
As far as getting an *** chewing, I won't add to it, but take it like a man and don't complain. People are only saying it because they care, as do I.
I get the sense you have a negative attitude when it comes to the police; I know this is difficult to understand at your age, but they are not your enemy, you will realize this one day.
As far as the pansy *** comment about 2 beers, well, when I was a youngster, I could drink a *****load of beer before getting a buzz, now I can feel a glow after a couple.
Everyone has a different tolerance when it comes to alcohol consumption.
Maybe it's because I drink real beer, and not that watered down mercan beer.
(sorry fellas, I had a chance for a cheap shot and couldn't resist, yuk yuk yuk)
With that being said, suck up the constructive criticism, enjoy your ute, and behave responsibly. We only live once (as far as we know) and life is precious, so smarten up.

BRAN,
FWIW,
I got stopped (early this morning) and was given my 1st sobriety test in 20+ years of driving. I passed but not before he put me in the back of the car, and a second officer was summoned and who tried playing the clever "Bad cop" by trying to provoke me and then re-testing me. But, he was a senior officer and he pretty much told the younger guy that I was fine. Not before telling me that I had an attitude - which I definitely did not. Also that I reeked of alchohol.
You know what i did ?? ( keep in mind both of these guys were at least 10 to 15 years younger than me too) I kept my mouth shut, thanked them and drove off.
I will honestly say that i was surprised that my balance was less than 100% and i have REAL GOOD balance (I can walk a wall plate in work boots with a mondo toolbelt and 2 hammers swinging pulling a tape measure, no problem). I was maybe 75%-80 when tested. Now granted it being dark, adrenaline flowing, flashing colored strobe lights, and a serious crown on the road shoulder didn't help matters , but more importantly, I FELT 100%
and started to freak a little thinking i've misjudged how much i'd sobered up.
Then guess what ??
I went about 5 miles and got pulled again, by a totally different cop in a different municipality. Maybe they radioed ahead but i was exceeding the speed limit by about 10-15 mph - no one else on the road. He got my documentation, asked if i had any points (which i don't) then asked me what "WhiskeyTango" on the side of my truck was. I told him I was a photographer. He said "well, I'm a pretty serious amateur myself"and we talked photography for about a 1/2hr. on the side of highway with his lights going. Turned out to be a really cool guy that goes to Sturgis, Daytona, and Laconia on his Hog and shoots for Easy Rider mag. We shook hands and went our ways. No talk of me reeking of alchohol either, and there's no way he woulda let me go without a test if there was any question of my sobriety. He took his job seriously.
So there, you never know. Take every situation as it comes, and don't be a ****. If you're in the right you'll most likely come out fine.
