Paint Removal...need help!!!
OK this is gonna sound really stupid to some but here goes.....
I painted my garage floor with gray concrete paint. I didn't put any prep down first or anything....just slapped it right on the concrete. Guess what? its now peeling of course and it looks aweful. I've had it with it and I want to remove it. I bought some paint removal stuff but I was looking for an easier way to do this. I was thinking of renting a 3000 psi pressure washer but I think that might be too messy.......any suggestions.
OH I also have a small white paint mark on my concrete driveway that was left when my house was built. Is there any kinda acid stuff I can by to strip it or something?

A pressure washer would be the way I would go. It would be messy though. Peel as much off as you can clean it up and then let it dry. Once it is dry I would think it would be just a matter of sweaping up the exccess.
I think I heard where "CLR" will remove paint. Am I correct on this? If so it might work on the stripe going down your driveway.

What brand concrete paint did you use? Some of the epoxy based floor coverings are hard to remove. If you had a lot of oil/grease on the floor that would explain the peeling.
I would guess that you would have the best luck with a High powered pressure washer. This would not doubt as mentioned above creat a serous mess. But if you lett it dry and sweep or blow it up afterwards you should have a fairly clean surface to apply an EPOXY based surface. I wish I had mine done before I moved all my "junk" in.

go to your local Jones Blair store they have a 2 step paint that will do the job...yes power wash it and let it dry and sweep up the flakes...the spot on the drive? muratic acid and a broom will lift it then LOTS of water and makes sure it doesnt puddle in the street or the kids get around it..it is hydrochloric acid..also make sure when you aplly it you don't get a whiff...youll think your brother in laws meth was kids stuff after a nose full of this
