BTW, Hagman's live in lover when he was in the Air Force was not only from the Middle East, I believe that she spent a lot of time in Bagdad fraternizing with the leadership there...

First i gotta say I love this thread. Next, at the risk of sounding like I'm starting a mutual admiration society, I agree with cpadpl. The Maplethorpes and hollyweird crowd deserve each other. Heston is a great inspiration and the Colombine movie made me wanna take an assault rifle to the director (and anyone else reponsible for that segment), the way they took advantage of Heston's failing health. Typical.
I have to say I was a big fan of Rush quite a while ago but i cringe alot when i listen to him now, and O'reilly is great, but to keep his ratings up I think all the formulas point to his being more obnoxious and sensational than he really needs to be. Listening to his book on cd on a drive to Florida last year let me hear him without the Barnum and Bailey routine. (BTW and WAY OT, Cracker Barrel has a great system for renting books on tape or cd for road trips).

As far as the conservative versus the liberal thing, my personal experience has been that conservatives tend to be more intelligent and educated (careful to note the bifurcation between the two that has arisen in this thread) than liberals
