carfax question
I am looking at an older mustang mach 1 and want more info on the car, the thing is that it only has an 11 digit vin. Can carfax get info on the car?? or should I look elsewhere??

I assume that by older you mean much older...if so you might want to try http://www.vintage-mustang.com/
They are a very knowledgeable group of people. only covering 64.5 thru 73 Mustangs and every detail of them.

Don't put too much confidence in those CarFax reports, They aren't any good.

more then anything I was told that it was a 1 owner. With the condition of the car I doubt it. Thanks for the replies.

Carfax reports can only be run on vehicles with a 17 character vin#. They have no information on 11 character vins and will say that its invalid.
