I am doing pretty good in school. Gonna swap schools at the end of this semester. I found a technical school closer to my house that offers the same cisco degree. It is gonna cut my drive from an hour to just twenty minutes. Thanks for asking. By the way how are you doing in school. This quarter is sure going by quick.

That is a damn good looking truck...

I like shortbed better as well. I figure unless your using your truck alot for hauling in the bed no real reason to own a long bed, except if your doing a camper or something and need the extra length because your to damn cheap to do a camper somewhere else...

Women look at it like this:

Long bed = "Where's the beef?"

Short bed = "That boy is packing some serious beef"

I think the longbed looks better in the superduty line, especially on a dually.

I do think the shortbed is the better looking, especially when i'm pimpin it around town with my homies.

Intersting obversation Raoul, my theory is that dealers will say/do anything to grease you out of money.

Fer instance...

In 92 or 93, I had a thunderbird SC, well, I was thinking about trading it on a truck.

So I drive into this used car lot (it was early July), and I'm talking to the smooth talking salesman. (He was dressed like Herb Tarlic from WKRP) kinda looked like him too.

Here are his words as I remember them:

"Well young fella, we sure would like to take your car on a trade, but were gonna offer you substantially less than what it's worth"

Why is that I ask

"Well, you see, sports car season is now over, and everyone is wanting to buy 4 wheel drives, you picked a bad time to trade"

So I say "U huh, but it's the 3rd of July, how can sports car season be over?"

"That's how it is in this buysiness, everyone buys in advance"

So basically, he is saying that if I want to trade my car, I should do it in Jan, because that's when sports car season is.

Anyway, I just chaulked him up as a lyin pos, and it reinforced my belief that salesmen are the scum of the earth, oh God how I hate them. If I ever go crazy, and the cheeze slides off my cracker, I will be a serial used car salesman killer! LOL

Hey Pickup Man,
Nice truck but here in California you have to put the Sunvisor on the back of your cab.

It's only worth what somebody will pay. I personally wouldn't pay more for a short bed. IMO opinion, LD w/ extended cabs look godd w/ either long or short bed, reg cabs don't look as good w/ long beds, and superduties look funny w/ short beds.

I think the longbed looks better in the superduty line, especially on a dually.
I have never seen a short bed dually - does Ford make them?

Speaking of helping people move, this is a true story....

Everyone knows a cheapskate right? Well, there are cheapskates, and then there are the KING of cheapskates.

This dude from my work lives in a 2200 sf house, 4 bedrooms, huge basement full of junk, and he asks me to borrow my truck..

So I ask him why...

Then he tells me how he's moving 2 streets over, and he doesn't want to spend the 50 bucks for a u-haul.

I'm like "your kidding right?

He looks at me all serious, and says, "no, im dead serioius"

I tried to explain to this ******** how it would take him 27,000 trips to move his entire house in my pick up, and that the gas would cost him $1,000.

His reply was "yeah, but i'm pnly moving 2 streets over"

Anyway, maybe cheapskate isnt the right word, I think "brain-dead ****" is more accurate.

Then he got all pissy with me when I told him no.

Some people are just stupid.
