Peacemaker,

What type of horses does your cousin have? I have two and one on the way - the gelding is an Arab and the mare is an Appolossa. The new one is due in June, so it gives me time to fix up the interior of the barn

We own 1 acre in East Fort Lauderdale. Most of it is house though but I enjoy it most of the time. I think I would like to life in the country though. Anyway here from Michigan? How is it up there?

I live on 5 acres that backs up to HUGE farm land. My two daughters live with me (no wife) with 3 horses, two black labs and 1 cool cat - and all the deer and wild game I care to hunt.

I live in the country. I have 1 acre with lots of big old trees (One is over 300 years old) and a 3000 sf house that was built in 1880. There are farms all around and the city (Hagerstown) is just 4 miles away.

Our house is on 1/2 acre, and was in the country, but is rapidly being overtaken by the city. Our getaway is the camper parked in the middle of about 600 acres that doesn't get much more country - no power, no running water, no nothing.

jb2001,

They are all thourobreds (sp?). He has 2 brown ones, and 2 red ones. They are all almost fully grown. And he has a colt. They are pretty tame to ride. But they get a little jumpy sometimes.
