Ok, this may sound stupid (and I guess it is), but it is funny, so bear with me. You know whenever something doesn't go someone's way, or maybe someone got the royal shaft, people make a certain face, and my friends and I have decided that it is funny. For some reason or another, when people scrunch up their face (for any reason that makes you say "Dang!" or your equivalent of "Dang!"), it is just hilarious. It is not anything new, but I just started paying attention to it about 6 months ago, and now everyone I know uses this face every single time that they can get away with it. For real, se if you can spot poeple doing "the face" on tv shows, or even better, in real life! I swear, if you are paying attention, you will laugh every time someone does it. This is an example of "the face".

Now, here are two different expressions so you can see the difference!

Uh-oh, a Dodge! Time for "the face"! See what I mean, y'all?
"The face" may also be accompanied by a disapproving sigh, exhaled through the nose, moderately loud, just to imply your inner feelings to those who may not be able to see "the face".
Thanks for taking time to read all of this nonsense, but if you are in a bad mood or are feeling down a little bit, but then you see "the face" in progress, it may even be funny enough to change your entire mood! I swear, I hope that a lot of you think that it is funny, too, or everyone here at my place is just going to feel stupid. By the way, when the Visa Check Card commercial comes on again, the one with the Barber brothers, and the lady at the desk points out that Tiki wasn't playing in the Super Bowl, Tiki gave us a great version of "theface"! Thanks, Tiki Barber!
Coach Gruden from Tampa Bay does "the face" all of the time, or a variant of it, anyway. Keep an eye out for "the face", coming soon to disgruntled people near you. Heck, you may even just do it yourself, you never know!
P.S. I vote that we need a smilie that is doing "The face". Please, that is all I ask from anyone, a 'feeling royally screwed' emoticon!

Yeah I saw coach Gruden make a god awful face in the superbowl game. Even the announcers noticed it. lol. I make that face all day long in school. I guess I make that face because I'm concentrating too hard or something. Thanks for this thread Pickup Man. It was funny.
