Fast Gator:

Next time you get called for jury duty do this and you WILL get out of jury duty:

Show up wearing boxer shorts, and a tank top with the following:

I am a POST ***** on F150online.com...

They may never call you back and black book you...

Heard this was said with in ear shot of the defense attorney: "You think we can hang this guy by lunch time? I'm hungry." Don't know if the guy was using it to get off jury or not, but the defense sure got him excused.

Federal Grand Jury will excuse with documented medical conditons.

I thing I noticed was that the attorney for the plantiff (? - civil case so not prosecutor) was quick to bring up the fact that I had a BS in geology, and the guy behind me had a PhD in mechanical engineering. Both of us were excused. It leaves me to believe they don't want educated people that can think for themselves on a jury.

I doubt that cops would even be called, since they are part of the enforcement branch of the gov't, it would be a conflict of interest. Also, there is no way a defense attorney would let a cop sit on a jury.

Next time tell them you have an honorary PhD in Post Whoring from F150online! (of course your degree would be an honory Doctorate of Post wHoring!)

I am currently serving on a jury for a murder case. Took 1.5 days just to pick the jury - went thru like 40 people. It's amazing what some people will come up with to get out of it - most of them looked like total morons. I say stand up and take it like a man - serve your civic duty and be thankful for our justice system.

BTW, Colorado pays $50 a day after the 3rd day.

Exclamation $50 a day !

That's about $6.25 an hour! If I could land a PJD (Permanent Jury Duty) position, I'd be set for life.

(Then I could give up my life of crime and make a good living sending my cohorts up the river)

I don't like that the judge and lawyers make big bucks and the jurors practically donate their time.

I'm self employed so nobody is gonna pay my lost wages.
