Just got back from Disney World!!!!
I just got back yesterday. Oh My God What a place!!! The attention to detail is amazing. Most parks only use half the details that Disney uses and gets the same results...happy people.
My hats off to ya Walt!!

I went for the first time w/ the wife & kids this past April. It was a BLAST! My 4 year old was totally blown away by seeing all the Disney characters in person. The only downside was the screaming heat, 107 degrees
I havent been to Disney World in years and it is not far from here. I want to go back soon though, It is such a cool place.

Never been to Disney World but have heard nothing but good things about it. I would love to go one day. I have been to Disneyland in Calif. like 20 times, use to live there, been to Disneyland in Toyko Japan 3 times. Only three times because its a long drive from here....
Actually I use to be stationed there on the USS Midway (aircraft carrier) when I was in the Navy. It was funny because of the few Americans there, they all had camras.

I went there 2 years ago in high school--our band competed in teh 15 week competition down there--15 weeks of bands playing and we placed 1st. GO FULTON!! #1 3A band in Missouri! Anyways we went to Disney World and it was a blast-i had alot of fun. Space mountain, test track, etc were great! Definetely one of my favorite memories from high school along with all the drunken nights and hung over days in school-boy those were fun lol! Best thing, we brought home the 4-foot-tall first place trophy. Looks good in the band room! I hope to maybe go back sometime but not in Mid-July, we cooked down there!
went their 2 summers ago. All the parks were great, except the night before we visited Epcot, I got food poisoned and didn't have a great night, with 100 temps and pure sun, made for a long day of walking around. I'm pretty shure I didn't look my best to attract the hot "gals" that were their also.
Hope y'all made it over to Race Rock on International Drive while you were down here. It's a way cool place for racing enthusiasts. It's too bad it has been sooooo cold down here. The weather has been lousy since Thanksgiving.
107 degrees?????? Never gets that hot down here. It rarely gets over 91 or 92 degrees. We get cooled down by the sea breezes every afternoon - which brings that late afternoon thunderstorm most every day in the summer. I will admit it does get humid though.
PS. - Probably the best coaster rides in Florida are at Busch Gardens in Tampa. They have the biggest selection.

I'm sure there are some new coasters there but I'm not sure how long it has been since you have been there. The roller coasters there are not the big thrill coasters I have been on other places, there are the kind you have to look around on and take in the scenery. Don't get me wrong, the Rocken Rollercoaster was great, Test Drive was cool, and Tower of Terror was awesome, I'm not trying to demean the experience at all. It was truely "Magical".

If you think that the place is big...you should see it underground. There is a full city underneath the Magic Kingdom. Just think, its own power house for electric power, its own sewage treatment plant for ..well you know. I worked there when I was an apprentice many years ago.
