2002 Jewel Headlights

I can not see at night !!!! My headlights seem to low?? Taking truck back to dealer today. I hope they can adj the lights higher. I have perfect vision day/night so its not me. Friends who have drove truck, said they HATE the headlights. Anybody else have trouble with their jewel headlights. i drove home last night with lights on BRIGHT!!! 20-30 cars passed me, no one flashed their lights at me. My old 4x4 everyone flashed their lights at me, if I had my lights on high beam. Lights seem very dim, and low to the ground.

No problems here - my guess is misaligned headlights. Bet the dealer gets you taken care of with no problems.

Goocy---Underneath the hood right by the lights are Torq type screw adjustments for the head lights, These are one of the best setups for the headlight adjustments, Alot easier then the pull the head light on the F150...

I carry a torq bit(#20 I think) on an extention(1/4") drive, at night I will adjust them...drive aliitle bit more and readjust if needed...

The setup is kick-butt, easy and dont get your hands dirty...

But to answer your original question---YES--they have the headlights firing into the ground..get them up and sideways...

No engine mods yet????

Got to look good 1 st, then engine mods, next year. No rush on engine mods. I want my truck to look alillte different than anyone else around here. There are like 6 red 4 door 4x4s here in town, so got to trick it out some. Make it look good. be different.

I adjust mine myself, live in the country and have to have bright lights to avoid the deer...

have to be able to see far down the highway...

They pull up real easy, 1/2 to 1 turn per screw, then drive it and see where they are...

In all reality they just plain suck. They just arent as bright as the old ones. Adjusting does help, but the lights themselves are dimmer.
