Drive by wire??
My friend has an '01 or '02 F-250 SD with the PS diesel. He told me it is drive-by-wire, no mechanical connection between the engine and the gas pedal.
True or not?

The drive by wire uses a throttle position sensor to tell the computer what the driver whats to do...I believe it only goes back to the electronic control days...The mechanical injection systems didn't use them... ~96...
