Need help deciphering F250 vehicle information

Was looking at an '89 F250 with 351W. Found the VIN# and a bunch of other info on a sticker on the driver's door jamb:

DATE: 09/01 (WTF???)
VIN: 1FTHF26H0KNA07322
GVW: 8600#
FRONT GAWR: 3305#
REAR GAWR: 6084#
TRANS: K
AXLE: 39
TAPE: 5
SPRING: 5 F
BODY: L J 4
TYPE-GVW: F268
WB: 133 (??)
TYPE: 1C (THIS MAY BE PAINT CODE?)

SOME OTHER CODES FOUND:

F0095
T0452

Anyone have a clue what the above info means, or where else I can look, to decipher this info?

thx,

-Mark

I don't think the info for an '89 is here, but somewhere on the Net you will find your info.

I dont think the 250 had an E4OD tranny, it was probably the heavy duty tranny that Ford used at the time.

Axle code is the ratio (ie 3.42, 3.55, 3.73, 4.10 etc) and if its posi or not.

Don't know what "TAPE" is.

I dont think "SPRING" or "BODY" are really important.

Those other codes you found could just be identifyers at the plant (shipping, paint batch, shift, etc)

Thanks, but I ended up buying a '90 F150. Can I tell anything about the options the truck came with (e.g. open vs. posi differential, etc...) from the VIN #?
