2015/16 6.2L with 4.30 rear end MPG
2015/16 6.2L with 4.30 rear end MPG
I am looking at buying a truck and had decided to get the 15/16 F250 CC SB with the 6.2L and 4.30 rear end and then on one of the other review forums I saw a post that stated that the new (15/16) trucks MPG took a nose dive. They are reporting that with the changes to the engine and tranny in 2015 the trucks are now averaging 11MPG mixed driving and 7 MPG pulling a trailer in the 5000LB range. After the first poster reported his results it was a pile on bashing the new trucks MPG, some of the comments and reported MPG numbers were so low that I left the site with the impression that there was some fudging going on trying to outdue each other.
Can anyone give me some real world MPG estimates on a 2015/16 F250 CC with the 6.2L and 4.30 rear end?
Has anyone else heard of the MPG plunge on the new engine and transmission combination?
I have read a lot of posts on the net for 6.2L mpg but I have yet to see any for the combination I am looking at buying.
Thanks for any info you can provide.
David
