interior light will not go out

interior light will not go out

when I run dwn the road the over head light keeps on coming on, and off, and the door caution on the panel is lit. where is the switch for the doors, I think mine is going bad

Spray the door latch with WD40. This is a common problem with the door latch.

Well, sounds like your switch is a gonner. The switch is attatched to the latch inside the door. You'd have to remove the door panel to get to it. Kind of a PITA but doable. The switch isn't that expensive.

Try squirting the WD-40 not just on the latch, but really stick the straw up in the door.

after I sprayed the latch with wd40 I thought about it and decided not to do it again because it attractes dirt and I dont need more in it . so I went to radio shack and bought a can of tuner cleaner, sprayed the latch with and now it works good as new
