Question F-250 model years

I remember seeing some F-250s on the road with the body style of the F-150. (current generation) I was wondering what years they made them like that until they changed it to the superduty style for the F250

They made the F250's (Lightduty) from 97-99. The same year the Superduty was introduced as well. In 2000, they renamed them as F150's, but have they 7700 below the F150 on the rear tailgate.

My only complaint, when I tell the parts guys I have a '99 F250. They assume I have a Superduty. I explain I have a lightduty and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
