Just wondering if any of you guys have a Flowmaster on your V-10. Some say they sound good, some say they sound horrible.....any opinions??

I have heard the Flowmaster sounds bad, I went with the Magna-Flow I have been told it does not sound as tinny. If you are doing it for performance don"t waste your money. In my case it did not make a noticable difference.

 

I saw/heard a SD V-10 with dual's the other day. Yuk! I was embarrassed for him. It DID sound like a sick V6.

 

I just talked to a guy this past weekend who had a Flowmaster muffler on his v10. I forgot to ask which one it was but it was the 1 in 2 out muffler. He had them custom bend the pipes so they came out the rear on each side of the hitch. Sounded awesome. I've seen him at a couple campgrounds, we have almost identical trucks, so I'll ask the next time.

I installed gibsons on my v10 and they sound great, everybody says they are not loud enough, but get on the gas and they howl. they sound good in idle too not a lot of noise, but just right
