Man, at least you didn't hurt yourself or the truck. Maybe it's time for some new tires or dedicated snow tires.

A couple years ago, my buddy has a '98 F350 reg cab diesel 4x4 had stock tires on and got stuck on ice. Yes, just ice. In 4LO. He wasn't even stuck, he was just on a slight incline and couldn't go anywhere except forward because right like 2 ft behind him was a building. I pulled him out with a Ford Escape...

You're gonna need to put a 12" lift on that thing!

You are guys are just cool - thanks for no hard ribbin' on this one. The Volvo was unavailable so I called a wrecker service with 4X4 service, the first guy said 'no way' the second one said 'no problem' - he almost got stuck hismself because of the weight of his 10k plus truck. All in all he said 'that was fun'.

YES! I need to save up for those 35" (305/70/18") tires and the mini-lift. I also need to use more momentum. My prob is that I like to cruise around in the fields...momentum is usually the key

Have a great week fellas - keep the rubber side down!

I think you ought to invest in some nice tires to properly put the V10's power to the ground -- where it belongs.

Nice!! And here I thought you went into the ditch again I dont think tires would have done anything other than get you stuck faster and worse and father back in the sticks where a wrecker wont go..

This is the truth. A little lift and 35s don't help a bit. These trucks are just too heavy to be any good off road.

Man that sucks, 33's in a mud terrain would help if you didn't want to go to 35's
